Putty filled with titanium; it is used to fill and repair for high pressure and corrosion exposed pumps, valves and pipes, exposed to continuous wear of the mill and closed mixer walls, coating, worn shafts, bushes.
It is especially used for coating and protection of metal lids, tanks which are exposed to salty sea water and many chemicals. It is reinforced with epoxy, titanium and special ceramic with a hardness of 9.5 mohs.
After hardening, ALCON TI is resistant to fuels, water, oil, vibration and a certain degree of heat.

Surface Preparation :
Application surface must be clean , sandpapered and if possible lightly rasped , dry and rust-free to ensure proper adhesion. Sanding of the surface is the most ideal procedure.Afterwards, the surface must be cleaned with an appropriate and oil-free solvent and the adhesion procedure must be completed without allowing the surface oxidizing once again.
Mixing :
Please refer to mixture proportion chart provided inside the lid of the box for correct proportions of resin and hardener. Add the hardener tor esin and mix thoroughly for approximately 4 mins. Until a homogenous mixture is attained. The mixture must be stirred both with circular movement and also from the bottom with upwards movement.
Application:
For putty types, apply the epoxy over the prepared surface by spreading with putty knife or similar tool ; whereas for liquid types , first apply a layer over the prepared surface with a brush , and then apply the remaining liquid on the top of this by slowly pouring it from the side of the mould or cavity without creating any air bubbles.
It is used to fill and repair shafts of worn miller, bushes, valves and piping exposed to high pressure and corrosion, covering mill and closed mixer walls which are exposed to continuous abrasion.
